ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES PROGRAM
The Engineering Associates Program (EAP) provides an opportunity for industry to advise the Schulich School of Engineering on all aspects of its activities.

Engineering leaders from corporations of all sizes and from all sectors come together with members of the school to build relationships in which new developments and important aspects of engineering education and research are highlighted.

MANDATE
Innovation in the partnership

  • Unprecedented partnership to improve all aspects of the Schulich School of Engineering.
  • EAP has fostered and supported a spirit of partnership and entrepreneurism, which has directly influenced the development of diverse, multi-faceted, high quality engineering programs, research and services.

Faculty support

  • Ensure that the role and importance of engineering education are recognized within the university community and in society.
  • Attract and retain the best faculty members in a competitive environment.
  • Promote and support initiatives to introduce life-long learning and specialty courses.
  • Support the undergraduate group design projects.

Program activities

  • A forum for exchange between industry and the faculty, through networking, communication,and the exchange of knowledge;
  • A quality of membership characterized by considerable talent and influence, dedication, diversity of opinions, and a mature level of professional experience;
  • A means of embracing the contributory nature of members: a source of participants for advisory committees, support for student awards, and funding for development; professional development and social functions.
