Research Interests

The research interests include mechanics and dynamics of micro and nano metal cutting operations, micro injection molding, sensor fusion, monitoring, adaptive and predictive control, dynamics compensation, coupling of modular substructures, nanocomposites, sensors, virtual simulation of machining, process optimization, high speed spindle dynamics, and design methodology.

He also has industry experiences in the fields of plastics manufacturing (i.e., injection molding, extrusion, dies and molds), electronics manufacturing (i.e., PWB design, SMT), and rapid prototyping (i.e., Stereolithograph, Laser Sintering).
