Get Answers! Book a Schulich School of Engineering Recruitment Visit to Your High School
The Schulich School of Engineering visits Calgary high schools informing students about careers in engineering, engineering at the U of C, student life and admission requirements. Visits typically take place in calculus, physics, or chemistry Grade 12 classes, or over a lunch period. A typical visit (takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes) includes a professor, a current engineering student, and the Recruitment and Awards Officer. We are pleased to personalize or expand visits to include a design activity or specific information on a unique research topic.

Opportunities to Visit Campus
A visit to the school may include a one-on-one opportunity to view some key student spaces and services in the engineering buildings, talk to current engineering students, meet a professor, help determine if engineering is the field for you, and get acquainted with the University of Calgary campus. Contact Rob Deptford at deptford [at] ucalgary [dot] ca or (403) 210-6727 to make arrangements. Visits are primarily held September through May, Monday through Friday, and require two weeks advanced notice to schedule.
The University of Calgary hosts a great campus tour program for prospective students, which includes an optional visit to residence. See Campus Tours or call (403) 220-6920 to schedule a campus-wide tour. The university also hosts various events throughout the year to connect with prospective students and their families.
