Research activities
Dr. Nygren’s research interests deal with the electrophysiology of the heart, using a combination of experimental measurements and computer modeling.
Biography
Dr. Nygren earned his doctorate degree from Rice University, Houston, Texas, and masters degrees from the University of Houston, Texas and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is a Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, as well as the Vice-Dean for the Schulich School of Engineering.
