Minds in Motion Program

The Schulich School of Engineering and the Faculty of Kinesiology team up to offer a unique children’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program called Minds in Motion.

Each year, over a thousand children in grades 3 to 8 experience STEM through hands-on discovery and creativity during summer camps in July and August, and classroom workshops in May and June.

About the program

Minds in Motion is a non-profit organization that started in 1998. It is co-hosted by the the Schulich School of Engineering and University of Calgary’s Active Living. The program is a member of Actua, an organization that provides training, resources and support to a national network of local groups that offer science and technology education programs.
