The Engineering Career Centre offers comprehensive support throughout the internship or summer placement, including free job postings and assistance with performance management, ensuring a seamless experience for your company.
Our Employer Specialists, experienced engineers with industry backgrounds, understand the skills your organization needs. They provide guidance throughout the internship process, including performance monitoring and engagement with both students and employers.
Choose from 4 to 16-month internships, available to qualified third-year students who bring advanced technical skills and academic experience. Start dates are offered in May, September or January, allowing you to align student placements with your business cycle and project timelines.
Hire first or second-year students for short-term summer roles, ideal for supporting projects, assisting technical teams, or handling entry-level engineering tasks. These placements help students fulfill their Practical Experience Requirement (PER) while giving employers access to emerging talent before they enter their third-year internship program.
Our Master of Engineering (MEng) students bring advanced academic training and professional skills to your workplace. This unique program offers 8 to 16-month internships, giving employers access to highly qualified graduate students who are ready to contribute at a higher technical level.
