Women in Engineering Day

Each year, young women in grades 10 and 11 get a glimpse into the world of engineering in a day-long event in February that combines a design contest, demonstrations and a panel discussion featuring female role models.

Women in Engineering Day is social, interactive and always fun. Students discover the many diverse fields of engineering and participate in an interactive design competition. Along with demonstrations from each department, students hear a presentation about life as an engineering student and take part in a lively and informative panel discussion led by successful female engineers.
