A day-long event for high school students that provides a glimpse into life as an engineer. During Women in Engineering Day, about 300 young women in grades 10 and 11 visit UCalgary.

They explore Schulich's labs and meet student mentors. They engage in a fun engineering design challenge. And, they enjoy a panel of successful female engineering alumni, and learn about the amazing careers available to women in this field.

Not only do they find out more about the diverse array of engineering disciplines they can choose from, they get a "day-in-the-life" experience of what studying engineering with us would be like.
