All appointments are booked in Waitwell. This system will open up same-day appointments as per the schedule below. For drop-in sessions, the queue will open at 9 a.m.

Our departments, programs, and the Engineering Student Centre (ESC) team are able to assist you with academic advising, course selection, registration, transfer credits, career advising and much more.

If you need to take two overlapping courses in Engineering, submit a Time Conflict Request Form.
Yes, if you want to take more than 6 courses, you need to connect with an advisor.
- Review your course outline and connect with your instructor.
- View the Academic Calendar: G.2.3 Absence from In-Course Assessments.
- If you can't write your final exam because of illness, you may qualify for a deferred exam. View details here.
- Submit your request within two business days after the final exam.
If you wish to review your final exam, please submit a Final Exam Request Form.

For Career Advising
- PER is a degree requirement for all undergraduate students, who enter into the Schulich School of Engineering in Fall 2025 and onwards.
- Students must complete a minimum of 500 hours of practical work experience before graduation.
- Prior to entering into a job placement, every student must complete the Career Readiness modules.
- After a placement, students must complete a Record of Practical Experience form (signed by their supervisor) and complete a placement reflection module.
- The undergraduate engineering internship program is designed for students who are registered full-time and expected to successfully complete all components of first, second and third year.
- It is paid full time professional engineering experience.
- The MEng internship program is competitive, and eligibility is limited to students whose admission letter explicitly includes the internship option.
- MEng students not admitted to the internship cohort may seek engineering work experience, during their regularly scheduled break, May-August.
- Transformative Talent Internship (TTI) is different from the MEng internship program. It is designed to support graduate students with the opportunity to explore their transferable skills and gain professional experience in a work-integrated learning context, during their scheduled break, May-August- contact Transformative Talent Internship (TTI)
- The MEng internship program provides students with the opportunity to work full-time beyond the 4 months that are part of the regularly scheduled break.
