Application Information

Schulich Student Activities Fund

Can I apply?

You can apply for funding if you are:

  • Registered as an undergraduate or graduate engineering student, in good standing at the time of your activity
  • Enrolled full-time in the fall or winter term of the current academic year and continuing your studies with us after your activity

Funding applications will only be accepted by Schulich students – not faculty, staff, or off-campus organizations.

Students aren't eligible for funding after their final semester ends. Some exceptions may be made for students who are part of design teams participating in competitions the summer after graduation.

Application tips

Read the policy carefully:

Ensure you have included all of the information required. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

Plan ahead:

If you haven’t received the official confirmation of acceptance to a conference, study abroad trip or competition before the application deadline, submit your application in advance and forward the documents once you get them.

Don't forget to save:

If you are partly done your application, you can hit "Save" and return to where you left off later. When you have completed your application, make sure you hit "Submit."

Group trips:

If you are applying on behalf of a group, ensure that the attendees' official names - the ones used for their university login - and student IDs are listed in the application.
