The Schulich School of Engineering's MEng Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to gain paid, hands-on industry experience while completing their degree.
Through the program, students:
- Apply engineering knowledge in a professional setting.
- Develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Gain Canadian industry experience and expand professional networks.
- Strengthen career readiness and enhance future employment opportunities.
- Build an understanding of workplace expectations and industry practice.
The most rewarding part is the knowledge. I feel like I’m doing something substantial and it matters. It’s a good experience. It makes all the difference in building your career.

Interning has been an incredible experience. Moving from the Land Development Delivery team to working on Development Servicing Agreements has allowed me to bridge the gap between my academic studies and real-world application. I am truly enjoying the work and appreciate the deep insights I’ve gained.
