MEng Internship Program

Complete your graduate studies and gain valuable work experience

Continuing our long-standing history of offering work-integrated learning, the Schulich School of Engineering is pleased to introduce a paid internship program for Master of Engineering (MEng) students, the first of its kind in Alberta.  

Through this unique-to-Schulich program students will: 

  • Apply their engineering skillset in a professional setting. 
  • Gain valuable soft skills such as communication, team building and leadership capacity. 
  • Enhance their knowledge of the Canadian business landscape. 

Spots in this program are limited.

Who can participate?

This internship program will be available for incoming students in fall 2024. Completion of one year of full-time studies and the Career Elevation preparation certificate is required. Internship placements could begin as early as spring 2025.

The internships will range from 8-to-16 months.

MEng internships placements could be anywhere in Canada – a diverse mix of engineering disciplines will be offered.

This experience allowed me to witness the practical application of both theoretical knowledge and field experience in addressing issues. Schulich has provided a solid foundation with knowledge and calculations, but the internship allowed me to translate that knowledge into real-world scenarios.
