Complete your graduate studies and gain valuable work experience

MEng Internship FAQs

Continuing our long-standing history of offering work-integrated learning, the Schulich School of Engineering is pleased to introduce a paid internship program for Master of Engineering (MEng) students, the first of its kind in Alberta.

Through this unique-to-Schulich program students will:

  • Apply their engineering skillset in a professional setting.
  • Gain valuable soft skills such as communication, team building and leadership capacity.
  • Enhance their knowledge of the Canadian business landscape.

Spots in this program are limited.

The most rewarding part is the knowledge. I feel like I’m doing something substantial and it matters. It’s a good experience. It makes all the difference in building your career.

Interning has been an incredible experience. Moving from the Land Development Delivery team to working on Development Servicing Agreements has allowed me to bridge the gap between my academic studies and real-world application. I am truly enjoying the work and appreciate the deep insights I’ve gained.
