Virtual recruitment

Anatomy of a virtual job offer

Security

Consider how you will send the offer to your chosen candidate and what will constitute the original document. Will the offer be written out in an email, sent as a PDF attachment or shared through a secure link?

Accepting the offer

Make sure to communicate to the candidate how they should return the accepted offer to you. Can they reply to your email with a written acceptance, or do you require a digital signature?

Digital signatures

If a signature is required, consider how you would like to receive it in digital form. Some solutions for formalizing digital agreements include requesting a signed and scanned copy of a job offer, using e-signature software, incorporating an “I accept” tick box on the offer letter or having the candidate type their name in an email or form to indicate a contractual agreement.
