Research
Areas of Research
Exploration, characterization, drilling, system design and production from geothermal systems ranging from shallow geo-exchange systems to ultra-deep and hot systems.
Modeling, optimization, and control of deep drilling systems, particularly in challenging formations and advanced well designs. Realtime systems modelling and estimation (digital twinning) for system monitoring and the use of machine learning techniques to monitor and improving drilling performance.
