Students in the bioengineering minor apply the basic tenets of engineering - analysis and synthesis - to improve human and animal health. They develop technologies that exist at the interface of medicine/biology and engineering. Graduates can communicate across disciplines to solve problems that cannot be addressed within a single specialty.
