Schulich community comes together to celebrate Stampede
Pancakes, entertainment and smiles were on the menu as the spirit of the Calgary Stampede was rekindled at the Schulich School of Engineering on July 13.
The faculty’s annual Stampede breakfast is an opportunity for staff, students, alumni and community supporters to come together at the Jeff and Liz Anne Tonken Plaza in front of the Canadian Natural Resources Limited Engineering Complex.
With many dressed in western attire, all in attendance were able to enjoy a hearty breakfast and treated to music from the Chris LeBlanc Band and magic from Malcolm Russel. Some even brought their families to enjoy the festivities, which included a visit from new UCalgary Chancellor Jon Cornish.
It was wonderful being able to host this event again, and thank you to everyone for joining us.
